This policy explains what personal data Flutter Conf Latam Passport (“the App”) collects, why we use it, and the rights you have as a user.

1. Data we collect

  • Identity: email, name, profile picture.
  • Optional profile: country, city, company, role, year you started with Flutter, links to GitHub / LinkedIn / website.
  • Event activity: stamps you register, workshops attended, talks, notes you write, photos you upload.
  • Network: connections you create via QR and the event where you met.
  • Technical: session identifiers, approximate IP, account creation date. We don’t use invasive third-party analytics.

2. Why we use it

  • To create and display your digital passport.
  • To let you connect with other attendees via QR.
  • To unlock achievements and keep community stats.
  • To respond when you write to support.

3. Who we share with

We don’t sell your data. Other authenticated users can see your name, profile picture, country, city, role and company if you filled them out (essential for networking). Sensitive data (email, account settings) is yours only.

We use Supabase as our infrastructure provider (database + storage). Your data lives on their servers with encryption at rest and in transit.

4. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete the account, we remove your profiles row, your bucket photos, your connections, and your event attendance. The auth log is retained up to 90 days for security.

5. Your rights

  • Access: you can see your data at any time from your profile.
  • Rectification: edit your profile directly from the App.
  • Erasure: delete your account and all associated data.
  • Portability: if you need an export, write to us.

6. Cookies

The website uses strictly necessary cookies to keep your session when accessing the admin panel. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Minors

The App is not directed at minors under 16. If we discover such an account, we delete it.

8. Changes

If something material changes, we’ll notify you in-app. The current version is always on this page.
